Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette

Urban Decay has some of the most popular eyeshadow palettes of all time, and are releasing more at a steady pace. How does the latest Smoky edition of the Naked palette line compare? Does it come up short? Let’s find out!

Naked Smoky is one of the latest Naked palettes to come out. It has become popular for its lovely dark and sparkling shades, along with pigmented mattes. Let’s take a look at the eyeshadow shades in the palette.

L-R: High, Dirtysweet, Radar, Armor, Slanted

High is champagne nude with glitter, and it is one of the more powdery shadows but still the brightest and my favorite glitter shade!

A more burnished tan with yellow undertones, this shadow is shimmery and lovely on the lid. Very pigmented!

Bronze with brown tones and some shimmer. Nicely pigmented, a little powdery but nothing too bad.

This is my second favorite shadow in the palette! A glittery mess, this is a very pigmented and beautiful steely grey (the color of some nice armor wink wink). This shade gives me LIFE.

This is a nice silver with warm undertones, not powdery. One of the more pigmented shadows in the palette.

L-R: Dagger, Black Market, Smolder, Password, Whiskey

Matte warm grey, this is perfect to blend out that smoky eye!

Black Market:

Matte black, this is great as a powder liner or to darken your crease.

Almost matte, but still has some very fine glitter in it, this is a deepened plum shade that would look beautiful with hazel eyes.

Matte brownish-grey with purple undertones. A really unique and pretty color that has good pigmentation and looks great in the crease.

Matte dark brown. Beautiful with blue eyes, this is the perfect shade of matte brown to blend out your warm smoky eye.

L-R: Smolder, Password, Whiskey, Combust, Thirteen

Peachy-tan matte is a perfect transition shade to use to blend out your crease.

The perfect highlight for my browbone, I am a fan of matte highlight eyeshadow shades like this. Beautiful and pigmented even though it is a light matte off-white.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this palette for anyone that loves smoky eyes. This also has some lovely lighter shadows if you prefer. If you only want lighter shadows, though, I think this may be a waste of your money, and suggest that you look at some of Urban Decay’s other shadow palettes.

Hope you enjoyed this post!
