This limited edition highlighter palette is one of the most talked about items of the year. Nearly everyone has this, but is is really worth the hype? Let’s take a look!
These look much darker and more pigmented in the pan than they do when first applied on the skin, however they are buildable and can be applied with a damp brush for a metallic shine. For the purposes of these swatches I just applied in dry layers for a clear look at the colors.
Sunburst is the lightest, and it is a lovely shade for those with light skin tones. I also like to mix it with Dripping in Gold, and it is the perfect shade for me (I am medium/light).
Golden Bronze gives me a beautiful tan, and I can use it all over the body for an awesome glow. Like I said, not as dark as it swatches, it just looks bronze on the skin. It’s so wonderful, I love it! It is great on all skin tones for a tan glow.
Bubbly is the most pigmented shade, and it is pinker than the rest. Another great shade that looks reflective on the decolletage and highlights the face in the most beautiful way. Can work on medium and light skin tones.
Dripping in Gold is more gold than Bubbly, and looks great on medium to light sin tones. I love to mix this with the other colors to make it slightly more warm. Just lovely!
All in all, I definitely recommend this palette to anyone who is looking for versatile shine in their makeup looks. The pans are huge and can be removed easily to put them in your own palette, and you get them for a breakdown of $10 each (palette is $40) which is a great value.
